Who am I?
About me
I’m a Registered Landscape Architect, permaculture designer and founder of Cultivate, a Newcastle-based practice creating productive, biodiverse and resilient places. My work brings together landscape design, permaculture and education, with a focus on spaces that support both people and nature.
Why Cultivate
I grew up in Mudgee, surrounded by farms and bushland, which shaped a strong connection to land, food and resilience. Cultivate grew from a desire to reconnect people with natural systems and to see gardens, verges, schools and community spaces as part of a larger network of habitat, food production and ecological connection.
Professional experience
My experience spans private practice and local government, including development applications, public domain, nature play, childcare and education environments, biodiversity-focused design, productive landscapes and masterplanning. Having worked in both design and assessment, I bring a practical understanding of planning requirements, site constraints and how projects move from concept through approval and construction.
